Addiction Recovery Coaching Training
Addiction Recovery Coaching is very different to other treatment programs. It’s more personal and is aimed at tapping into the client’s strength. Programs and treatment interventions are tailored to tap into the client’s strengths and encourage accountability and personal responsibility. Our experience shows us that if our clients are motivated by their own choices and decisions that the therapeutic relationship is not only more beneficial but results in long term recovery and personal transformation. Recovery Coaching has been created using the foundations of the tried and tested Minnesota model of addiction treatment, the “12 Step Program” combined with executive coaching and leadership tools. By combining Addiction Recovery Coaching with traditional 12 step treatment the outcomes of treatment have been proved to be more sustainable and beneficial to our clients and the process of recovery. Recovery Coaching addresses the system of Addiction, so as a tool is used to effect change within any part of the system. With this in mind the Recovery Coaching Model can be used just as easily with family members or loved ones or within the work place. With this in mind one can easily “bolt on” Recovery Coaching to a family program or an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) or Corporate wellness programs. It is vital that our learners have an in-depth understanding of the 12 step model of treatment prior to attending this advanced training.
